GSM RACING FA BENE ANCHE A NÜRBURGRING
CONQUISTANDO UN QUARTO POSTO IN GARA 2
IL GSM Racing mantiene il livello delle sue prestazioni anche a Nürburgring, portando a casa un ottavo e un quarto posto rispettivamente in Gara 1 e 2. “In Gara 1 siamo partiti in prima fila con Jonathan (Cecotto)” ha dichiarato il team manager Andrea Grillini” che era andato fortissimo in fase di qualificazione. Non siamo riusciti a mantenere la posizione fino a fine gara ma in parte ci siamo rifatti in Gara 2 dove siamo partiti in terza fila e, grazie a Liddy prima e a Cecotto poi, siamo riusciti a tagliare il traguardo in quarta posizione. Sono comunque soddisfatto di questo weekend di gara perché macchina e piloti ancora una volta si sono dimostrati all’altezza di stare tra i top 5.
Ottima la prestazione di Cecotto nelle due gare che ha dichiarato: ”In Gara 1 sono partito molto bene. Ho perso la mia posizione alla prima curva ma sono sempre rimasto nel gruppo dei primi per tutto il tempo della mia gara. In Gara 2 sono riuscito a recuperare delle posizioni, ho fatto un bel sorpasso ma per andare a recuperare le altre macchine mi ci sarebbe voluto qualche giro in più”. Buona anche la prestazione di Liddy che sta trovando ogni volta di più confidenza con la macchina.

GSM RACING FINISHES FOURTH IN RACE 2
Good performance of GSM Racing at Nürburgring in Germany with Jonathan Cecotto and Patrick Liddy finishing eighth and fourth respectively in Race 1 and Race 2. “In Race 1 we started with Jonathan Cecotto in first row” declared team manager Andrea Grillini ”however we haven’t been able to mantain the position until the end of the race. In Race 2 we started from the third row and, thanks to Liddy first and then to Cecotto, we managed to cross the finish line in fourth position. I am satisfied with this race weekend because the car and drivers once again proved to be able to stay in the top 5.
Excellent performance by Cecotto in the two races “In race 1 I started very well. I lost my position at the first turn but I always remained in the group of the leaders for the entire time of my race. In race 2 I managed to make up some positions, I made a good overtaking but I would have needed more time to get the other cars.” Liddy’s performance was also good, becoming more and more familiar with the car.
